Eni: signs LT contract with QatarEnergy LNG NFE
(CercleFinance.com) - Eni announces that it has signed a long-term contract with QatarEnergy LNG NFE, a joint venture between Eni and QatarEnergy.
It is dedicated to the development of the North Field East (NFE) project in Qatar, for the delivery of up to 1.5 billion cubic metres per year (bcma) of LNG.
The available volumes will be delivered to the "FSRU Italia" receiving terminal, currently located in Piombino, Italy, with deliveries scheduled from 2026 for 27 years.
LNG volumes produced by the NFE project will increase Qatar's LNG production by 45 billion cubic metres, in addition to the current 108 billion cubic metres.
