Eni: first LNG shipment to Indonesian domestic market.
(CercleFinance.com) - Italian oil major Eni today made its first shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) produced by a field located in Indonesia's deep waters.
The 22,500 m3 cargo left the Bontang liquefaction plant, in East Kalimantan, and is headed to Bali, where it will be unloaded as part of a long-term LNG contract signed with PT Pertamina.
Eni started gas production at the Jangkrik field ahead of schedule in May 2017.
