Enel: ordinary net income reaches E5.3bn
(CercleFinance.com) - Enel yesterday announced 2022 results, including revenue of E140,517m, up 63.
9% compared to 2021 (E85,719m).
The final 2022 figures demonstrated the group's ability to turn around its financial trajectory, in line with its expectations. Ordinary operating performance exceeded guidance, Oddo said.
Ordinary EBITDA came in at 19.7 billion euros (+2.5%), while ordinary net income reached 5.4 billion euros. The Group's net income reached E1,682m (E3,189m in 2021, -47.3%)
Growth is thanks to the combination of thermal generation and trading activities, Enel Green Power, end-user markets and Enel X, as well as the positive performance of Enel Grids, the company said.
EBITDA reached E19,918m (vs. E17,2331m in 2021, +15.6%), EBIT was E11,193m (E7,5511m in 2021, +48.2%).
Capex was E14,347m (vs. E12,997m in 2021, +10.4%).
Enel has set a dividend of E0.40 euro per share, up from last year.
