Mediaset: stock down after interim results
(CercleFinance.com) - The Mediaset stock is down in Milan after the media group reported a net loss of 18.
9 million euros for H1 2020, compared to a profit of 102.7 million euros in H1 2019.
In Italy operating profit fell year-on-year from 191.6 million euros to 31.7 million euros, with revenues down over 21% to less than 1.17 billion euros, with a fall in television advertising revenue.
In the absence of new restrictions relating to the health crisis and assuming a continued economic rebound, Mediaset expects a gradual improvement in its results in H2 relative to H1.
