Linde: hydrogen facility commissioned in Texas
(CercleFinance.com) - Industrial gas group Linde has announced the start-up of a new world-class hydrogen production facility in Texas, bringing the group's total hydrogen capacity on the US Gulf Coast to approximately 1.
5 billion cubic feet per day.
Linde's new plant began supplying high purity hydrogen to the Phillips 66 Sweeny refinery in Old Ocean, Texas, under a long-term supply agreement.
The new facility is located on Linde's coastal hydrogen pipeline (approximately 600 kilometres long) from Lake Charles, Louisiana to Freeport, Texas, having been recently expanded to connect to the Sweeny refinery.
