Linde: wins order to build hydrogen production plant in US
(CercleFinance.com) - Linde has won a major order from US industrial gasmaker Praxair to supply the largest hydrogen production unit in the German group's history, the company said on Friday.
Linde has signed a contract to provide Praxair with a factory that will be part of the company's US Gulf Coast hydrogen system, spanning from Texas to Louisiana.
Linde will be responsible for the design and supply of the equipment for the plant's core components, which is scheduled to come on stream in early 2021.
Linde and Praxair closed their merger last month after US antitrust authorities gave their go-ahead.
