Ryanair: unveils 10-year growth for Ireland
(CercleFinance.com) - Ryanair yesterday celebrated 35 years in Ireland, an opportunity for the company to look back on three decades of presence in the country.
In a few figures, Ryanair in Ireland represents an annual investment of 1.5 billion euros, 26,000 jobs, 200 airlines, 7 airports and 20 million passengers transported per year.
The company plans to invest over 20 billion euros in new technology aircraft, with an order for 210 new B737 Gamechangers. A new 50 million euro training centre for pilots and cabin crew is also planned to be opened in Santry, a northern suburb of Dublin.
