Ryanair: cancels 190 flights on Friday
(CercleFinance.com) - The low-cost airline Ryanair announced on Tuesday afternoon the cancellation of 190 flights scheduled for Friday, due to a new strike by its cabin crew in Europe.
In particular, the cabin crew ("a small minority," Ryanair says) in Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Italy and Germany are causing these cancellations. They represent 8% of the 2,400 flights scheduled for Friday.
All customers affected by these cancelled flights received messages by email and SMS informing them about the situation. They are about 30,000, the airline says.
