Accenture: another acquisition in Australia
(CercleFinance.com) - US consulting giant Accenture is continuing with its acquisition frenzy, having announced the acquisition of GRA, an Australian-based logistics specialist.
Founded in 1997, GRA - which has offices in Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane and employs about 50 people - specializes in "end-to-end" procurement strategies for clients such as the Australian government and industries such as aerospace, defence and consumer goods.
Accenture has already made a number of investments in Australia and New Zealand over the past 18 months, including the acquisition of cloud specialists Olikka and Zag, the "big data" Analytics8 company and the consulting firm Apis Group.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
