Accenture's remote support solution is a smartphone application that provides fast, secure and quality video communication between a mobile operator on board an aircraft and back-office experts. Thanks to SightCall's video technology, the back office expert can clearly understand the problem and guide the mobile operator. This enables Airbus to improve its operations by speeding up decision making, reducing unproductive time, and ultimately lowering assembly costs, Accenture specified.
According to the consulting and technology giant, 96% of users confirmed that the remote support solution enabled them to solve problems in a shorter space of time, on average enabling them to save 60 minutes.
