Accenture: beats consensus in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture has announceQ1 2017/18 EPS of 1.
79 dollar (period to end-November), up 13% from the same period a year ago, while the consensus was expecting twelve cents less.

The consulting and outsourcing group maintained its operating margin at 15.6%, with total revenues of 9.5 billion dollars, up 12% as reported and up 10% in local currencies.

Having booked 10 billion dollars in orders over the period, Accenture now expects FY EPS of 6.48-6.66 dollars (vs. a previous range of 6.36-6.60 dollars), with sales growth at local currencies reaching 6% to 8% (vs. a previous range of 5%-8%).
