Bridgepoint: EU approves purchase of Windar Renovable
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission announces that it has authorised the acquisition of sole control of Windar Renovables (Windar) of Spain by the AM company Bridgepoint Group (Bridgepoint) of Luxembourg.
The transaction mainly concerns the manufacture of wind towers and offshore foundations for wind turbines.
The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise competition concerns, as the companies are not active on the same or vertically related markets.
This transaction was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
