Vodafone: growth edges up in third-quarter
(CercleFinance.com) - Vodafone said that it has made good progress on its key priorities over the third quarter, citing continued recovery in Spain and South Africa, as well as an acceleration in the UK.
The UK telecom company said on Wednesday that its organic service revenue growth - its main growth measurement - reached 0.8% in the three months to end-December.
This marked a slight improvement from the 0.7% posted for the second quarter.
Vodafone reiterated its full-year guidance, expecting adjusted EBITDA of 14.8 billion euros-15 billion euros, and free cash flow of around 5.4 billion euros.
The shares were up 1.9% on the London Stock Exchange following this announcement.
