TechnipFMC: wins major contract in Siberia
(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday TechnipFMC announced that it has won a "major contract" in Siberia, For TechnipFMC, a “major” contract is over $1 billion; the consolidated contract value for the group for Arctic LNG 2 is 7.
6 billion dollars (c. 6.8 billion euros), the group said.
This is a contract with the Russian gas group Novatek and its partners for the Siberian Artic LNG 2 project in the Gydan peninsula. TechnipFMC said that the project will include three liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains with a capacity of 6.6 million tonnes per year each, to be installed on three concrete gravity platforms.
"The consolidated contract value to TechnipFMC for Arctic LNG 2 is $7.6 billion," the company said.
