Compass: raises revenue estimates
(CercleFinance.com) - The contract catering group's underlying revenue for H1 (ended 31 March 2022) is up 37.
9% to 11.6 billion pounds (compared to £8.4bn for H1 2021).
This 37.9% organic growth was driven by a strong performance in North America and Europe, the company said.
Meanwhile, its operating margin reached 5.8%, up 240 points relative to 2021. Operating profit was 673 million pounds, up 134.5%, with EPS also soaring 183.2% to 26.9p.
The company has increased its organic revenue guidance for FY2022 from 20%-25% to around 30%.
Margin forecasts remain unchanged. Compass expects its FY 2022 underlying operating margin to exceed 6%, at around 7% at the end of the year.
