easyJet: changes in board of directors
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday, easyJet's chairman and CEO, Johan Lundgren announced changes in the structure of the low-cost airline's Board of Directors.
He plans to create a new post of Chief Data Officer to lead and coordinate all the group's data management activities. This new role will be directly attached to Johan Lundgren and will mean that more attention is paid to the use of such data by the airline, in order to improve the group's customer approach, generating revenues, reducing costs and improving operational reliability, Mr Lundren said.
The pricing policy, the management of revenues and ancillary revenues will be moved from the commercial service to Robert Carey, Director of the airline's strategy and network, in order to improve the coordination and transparency in all the key decisions taken by easyJet about its destinations, its priced and the products and services that the airline offers its customers.
