9% more passengers in July year-on-year, despite far more flight cancellations than in the same month last year.
The airline carried 8.17 million passengers last month, up from the 7.50 million it flew in July 2016, while its load factor -- a measure of how well a company fills its planes -- rose 1.1% to 96.8%.
There were 541 cancellations in July 2017, compared to 350 in the same month last year.
easyJet shares, which have risen 25% since the beginning of the year, are currently down 0.2% at 1,260 pence on Friday, valuing the airline at over 5 billion pounds.
