Reckitt Benckiser: Morgan Stanley maintains 'overweight'
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Morgan Stanley reiterated its "overweight" rating for Reckitt Benckiser, with a target price of 9,000 pence, raising its estimates on the consumer goods maker on flu season and strong trends in baby food in China.
"Reckitt Benckiser could become the number 1 player in consumer health (...) but may face stiff competition to realise its "dream"," the broker wrote in a report sent to clients.
However, the British firm is constrained by its leverage (3.5x 2017) - as a Pfizer OTC acquisition, for example, would be valued at between 12 billion and 24 billion dollars.
