75 billion dollar senior notes offering, as the British consumer goods maker raises funds to finance the acquisition of Mead Johnson.
In a press release, the company said that it intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to refinance certain debt facilities ahead of the transaction.
The offering consists of four tranches, 750 million dollars of floating rate senior notes due in 2022, 2.5 billion dollars of 2022 fixed rate notes, two billion dollars 2024 fixed rate notes and 2.5 billion of 2027 fixed rate notes.
