Burberry: H1 sales drop 30%
(CercleFinance.com) - Burberry has recorded H1 2020/21 sales of 878 million pounds, down 30% at fixed exchange rates y-o-y.
At the same time, adjusted EBIT dived 71% from 203 million pounds a year ago to 51 million pounds. Adjusted EPS was 4.6 pence.
However, the group said it is encouraged by the recovery in the second quarter of its fiscal year, although is bearing in mind the uncertain macroeconomic environment caused by Covid-19.
