BAE Systems: delivers EC-37B Compass Call aircraft
(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems has designed, tested and delivered key components for the US Air Force's first EC-37B Compass Call aircraft.
This delivery paves the way for developmental and operational flight testing of the Compass Call Baseline 3 configuration in January 2023. The Baseline 3 configuration provides additional electronic warfare capabilities.
Provisional entry into service is expected to follow the completion of testing in mid-2024.
It said that this final delivery of hardware for the first EC-37B aircraft ensures an upgrade that will continue to outperform adversaries.
