BAE Systems: contract with US Air Force
(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems announced late on Tuesday that it has won a 58 million dollar contract from Boeing to begin initial production of the F-15 Eagle EPAWSS system for the US Air Force.
EPAWSS enables pilots to monitor, jam and counter threats in disputed airspace.
The system combines multi-spectral sensors and countermeasures, advanced signal processing, microelectronics and intelligent algorithms to provide fully integrated radar warning, situational awareness, geolocation and self-protection capacity.
