OVHcloud: stock falls after KKR-Towerbrook placement
(CercleFinance.com) - The OVHcloud share fell heavily in Paris on Thursday following the announcement of a private placement of shares by the investment funds KKR and Towerbrook.
At 2pm, the French cloud computing group's share price was down over 10%, the second worst performance of the SBF 120, in volumes that are 13 times their daily average of the last few sessions.
At the same time, the SBF 120 index was down about 0.5%.
According to market sources, KKR and Towerbrook this morning sold some five million shares, or 2.6% of the capital, at a unit price of 12.9 euros, representing a discount of almost 8% compared to the closing price on Wednesday evening.
KKR and Towerbrook will see their shareholding reduced from 7.6% to 12.6%, i.e. 6.3% each.
