FDJ: acquires ZEturf
(CercleFinance.com) - La Française des Jeux (FDJ) has completed the acquisition of the ZEturf group, operator of online horse betting and online sports betting under the Zebet brand.
This acquisition represents an enterprise value of E175m. It follows the clearance decision by the French Competition Authority on 15 September.
ZEturf is the 2nd largest online horse betting operator in France, with a market share of around 20%.
This acquisition enables the FDJ Group to become the 4th largest player in competitive online gambling in France (sports betting, horse betting and poker), with a market share of over 10%.
