Somfy: 2022 earnings down 8%
(CercleFinance.com) - The automation and fittings group's 2022 sales reached 1.
5 billion euros, up 3.7% y-o-y (+1.6% LFL).
Sales increased 4.3% in H1 and fell by 1.6% in H2 LFL.
Operating income before non-recurrent items amounted to 278 million euro for the year, down 7.6%, representing an operating margin before non-recurrent items of 18.2%, which is lower than in both 2020 and 2021.
Net income reached 238 million euros, down 8.1%. Return on capital employed (ROCE) was 20.5%, comparable to the level observed in 2019 (22.2%): It was 31.4% in 2021, i.e. over 10 points better.
