Europcar: down after launch of fund raising.
(CercleFinance.com) - Europcar is down 3% today, after its announcement - following the contract for the acquisition of Goldcar - of the launch of a capital increase through the issue of new ordinary shares with cancellation of the DPS, by a private placement.
The capital increase, which aims to strengthen its equity capital, will result in the issue of a maximum of 14,613,270 new ordinary shares, representing approximately 10% of Europcar Group's share capital.
Eurazeo, which holds 41.43% of the vehicle rental group's capital, announced its intention to place an order of approximately 40 million euros in order to subscribe to this capital increase.
