Spie: awarded contract by Chevron Australia
(CercleFinance.com) - Spie today announced that its subsidiary, Spie Oil & Gas Services, has been awarded a contract by Chevron Australia to integrate process automation systems for its subsea gas compression system in the Jansz-Io gas field, offshore Western Australia.
As the Jansz-Io field's reservoir pressure has gradually decreased over the years of production, compression infrastructure has become necessary to enhance its recovery capability.
The services will be provided by Spie Oil & Gas Services Pty Ltd, the Australian subsidiary of Spie Oil & Gas Services.
The services will cover all systems integration engineering associated with the subsea gas compression system and the field control station, as well as modifications to the existing facilities at Gorgon.
