Elis: acquisition in Belgium
(CercleFinance.com) - Elis has announced having completed the acquisition of 100% of Meuse and Ardennes (M&A), a family-owned business with a laundry found near Liège, which generated sales around 8 million euros in 2017.
With this deal, the financial terms of which have not been specified, Elis has launched into the market of flat linen in Belgium, a country where the industrial laundry group was only present on the sectors of work and hygiene clothing and well-being.
The Belgian platform for flat linen will also distribute volumes between the North of France, Belgium, Luxembourg and North-West Germany to optimise logistics and improve productivity in the region.
