Suez: successfully prices £600m bond
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez has successfully priced an inaugural £600m green bond issue.
The issue has a fixed annual rate of 6.625% and a 20-year maturity.
This new operation generated strong demand from investors, with the order book reaching almost double the amount at £1.1bn.
The purpose of the issue is to refinance part of the E1.2bn acquisition facility raised in December 2022 to complete the acquisition of Suez recycling and recovery UK.
It also strengthens the group's financial structure by increasing the average maturity of its debt by 2 years to 8.5 years.
