Suez: commissions recycling plant in Thailand
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez has announced the commissioning of its first recycled polymer production plant in Bang Phli, Thailand.
In Thailand, only a quarter of the 2 million tonnes of plastic waste produced each year is recycled.
"To tackle plastic pollution and protect the oceans, the SUEZ Circular Polymer Plant recycles low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) plastic," the company said.
"It is one of Thailand's largest LDPE recycling plants and operates in the highest level of compliance".
