Suez: takes stake in Etia group
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Suez announced taking an investment through its corporate investment fund Suez Ventures in the ETIA group.
This takes the form of a stake in ETIA alongside the Race For Water Foundation, and a stake in the start-up COGEBIO alongside Demeter 3A and ETIA.
Amounting to a total of 4.2 million euros, these investments aim to support ETIA group's development in France and internationally and to create an extensive range of solutions for green energy production. They will capitalise on Suez's technical and commercial skills to deploy a global decentralised energy production offer (solid, gaseous and liquid fuels) from all types of biomass and dry waste (wood, sludge, plastics, etc.).
