Suez: wins contract in India.
(CercleFinance.com) - The Water and Sanitation Council of Bangalore, India, has selected Suez to assist it in improving the sanitation infrastructure for two million people in the Vrishabhavathi Valley area, we learned this Wednesday afternoon.
The group will therefore be responsible for the construction of a new sanitation plant (150,000 cubic metres per day), the rehabilitation of an existing plant (also 150,000 cubic metres per day) and the construction of the plant for the treatment and processing of sewage sludge from both these plants.
The construction contract will be followed by 10 years of operation, representing total revenues of 82 million euros.
