Getlink: Q3 revenues down 17%
(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink has reported Q3 revenue that is down 17% at 252.
1 million euros, at constant exchange rates, a decline that the Channel Tunnel operator explains is due to the continuing effects of the Covid-19 health crisis.
At 219.8 million euros, the Eurotunnel division's revenues fell by 19%, with a drop of just 2% for its shuttle business, while those for its rail network plunged 57%. Finally, the Europorte division reported a 3% rise in revenues to 32.2 million euros.
In view of the second wave of the health crisis, the group has decided to withdraw its target announced on 23 July, which included FY 2020 consolidated EBITDA of 350 million euros, as this was based on assumptions that are no longer valid.
