Eurotunnel: new daily traffic record
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurotunnel's truck shuttle service, Le Shuttle Freight, set a new all-time record for its daily traffic last Thursday.
The tunnel carried 7,023 trucks in both directions, 3% higher than the previous record, which dates back to 13 March 2008.
This performance was thanks to the commissioning of three 3rd generation shuttles in 2017. They provide 7 departures per hour in each direction.
