Getlink: revenues up 4% in 2017
(CercleFinance.com) - GetLink (formerly Eurotunnel group) has announced 2017 revenues of 1.
033 billion euros, up 4% at constant exchange rates, hence continuing its momentum, after growth of 4% in 2015 and 2016.
At 914.5 million, revenues of the fixed link rose by 4%, including a 3% increase for the shuttle business, thanks to an increased yield, with a 4% increase for the rail network with sound figures for Eurostar traffic.
At 118.5 million, Europorte's revenues increased by 2%, mainly due to the increased level of activity amongst major customers in the automotive, chemistry and cereals sectors, as well as the start-up of new traffic, from companies such as Lhoist Castine and Lafarge.
