Atari: 2020 convertible bonds repaid early
(CercleFinance.com) - Atari has announced its decision to exercise its right to repay all bonds convertible or exchangeable into new and/or existing shares (OCEANEs) that are still in circulation on 2 March 2018; they have a maturity date of 19 February 2020.
The interactive entertainment group says that only 3,294,923 OCEANEs remain in circulation out of a total of 14,213,435 OCEANEs initially issued, meaning a ratio of 23%.
This transaction will reduce the group's debt by 1.4 million euros and will save 100,000 euros per year in financial expenses. There is only a limited increase in the number of shares outstanding (dilution of 1.45%).
