Scor: creates Scor Europe ahead of Brexit
(CercleFinance.com) - Scor announces the creation of Scor Europe SE, its new non-life specialties insurance company based in Paris, which has obtained approval from the authority of Prudential Control and Resolution (ACPR).
Given Brexit, this will enable the group to guarantee the continuity of services to insured parties. Scor Europe will underwrite all new and renewed cases relating to risks within the EEA, which will no longer be accepted by Scor UK Company Ltd. after the effective date of Brexit.
