ADP: passenger traffic up 0.9% in November
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Friday, Aéroports de Paris reported traffic that was up 0.
9% y-o-y in November 2019.
The airport operator welcomed a total of 5.7 million passengers at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+3.3%) and 2.3 million at Paris-Orly (-4.8%).
Traffic fell at Paris-Orly due to works on the main runway (reopened on 2 December) and effects stemming from the bankruptcy of Aigle Azur, which ceased operations on 6 September, ADP said.
Overall, international traffic rose by 1.9%, while traffic to Europe (excluding France) rose by 0.7%; however, traffic fell slightly (-1.6%) to destinations in France.
Since the start of 2019, traffic at Paris Aéroport has risen by 2.8%, with a total of 99.9 million passengers.
