ADP: takes exclusive control of Amman airport
(CercleFinance.com) - The ADP Group announces that it has finalised a transaction to hold 51% of the airport's capital, giving it exclusive control of Airport International Group ("AIG"), the concession operator of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in Amman, Jordan.
The new co-owners with whom ADP invests are the infrastructure investment fund Meridiam and IDB Infrastructure Fund II funds. Edgo, which is already present, remains a co-shareholder. The French Group's investment amounts to 265 million dollars.
Already a shareholder of 9.5% of AIG since 2007, ADP will consolidate the accounts of the concession operating company by global integration. With this takeover, it will be able to deploy its know-how, expertise and service offer.
