Arkema: Bostik makes acquisition in Denmark
(CercleFinance.com) - Arkema announces the acquisition, by its subsidiary Bostik, of LIP Bygningsartikler AS (LIP), the Danish leader in tile adhesives, sealing systems and floor preparation solutions, a key player in the Scandinavian market.
With sales of around 30 million euros, LIP has around fifty employees and has a leading site in Nørre Aaby (Denmark), which is equipped with a highly automated production tool that complies with carbon neutrality.
"The excellent geographic and commercial complementarity of this acquisition will enable Bostik to offer integrated, innovative and high value-added solutions to its customers in Northern European countries," the chemist explained, which expects the deal to be completed in the start of 2020.
