Arkema: to increase polyamide production capacity
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday, Arkema group announced that it intends to increase its global production capacities of polyamide powders by over 50% at its site in Mont, France, in order to meet the high demand in industrial applications, such as coatings, composites and 3D printing.
This investment of about 20 million euros will enter into service in the second half of 2019.
After our recent announcement of major investments in Asia for our ranges of polyamide 11 Rilsan and polyamide 12 Rilsamid, this time we are focusing our efforts on our portfolio of Orgasol specialties powders. We are continuing our investments to accompany our customers' growth, said Erwoan Pezron, Arkema's global director of its technical polymers business.
