Legrand: go-ahead for an acquisition in the US.
(CercleFinance.com) - Legrand has announced the signing of an agreement for the acquisition of Milestone AV Technologies, a US company operating in infrastructure and Audio-Video (AV) power, a high value segment of the digital infrastructure market.
The French group will acquire Milestone for an enterprise value of 950 million dollars, net of a discounted tax benefit of 250 million dollars, resulting from the standard amortization of goodwill from 2017.
Based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, this company generated revenues of 464 million dollars in 2016. Over the same period, the adjusted operating income and free cash flow respectively represented 21% and 12.5% of sales.
