EDF: announces acquisition of Oreka Solutions
(CercleFinance.com) - EDF group, through its subsidiary EDF Nouveaux Business, today announced that in May it acquired Oreka Solutions, a startup offering digital 3D simulation solutions for nuclear decommissioning.
Oreka Solutions has around ten employees and is active in France, Europe (UK, Germany) and beyond (China).
"This start-up gives added value to the EDF Group portfolio in decommissioning Engineering and radioactive waste management, which also means that the Group can position itself as a main European player in the market of nuclear decommissioning operations.
