EDF: changes targets for 2018.
(CercleFinance.com) - EDF has announced that it is updating its targets for 2018, saying that it is faced with several unfavourable developments, such as the expected erosion of electricity consumption in France and the lower availability of certain nuclear units at the beginning of the year.
The electricity generator has therefore provided a new 2018 EBITDA target of between 14.6 billion and 15.3 billion euros, against a previous target of at least 15.2 billion at 2016 exchange rate.
The group also targets a net financial debt/EBITDA target ratio of up to 2.7 times (vs. previous target of up to 2.5 times) and target for a slightly positive (or near-equilibrium) cashflow (previous target above or equal to zero).
