Eutelsat: wins contract in Croatia
(CercleFinance.com) - The Croatian public television group Hrvatska radiotelevizija (HRT) has signed a multi-year agreement with Eutelsat, it was reported on Thursday.
This focuses on the capacity of HOTBIRD, a leading audiovisual hub in Europe and the Middle East, in order to broadcast its news and entertainment channel HRT-HTV 5 to an international audience.
Free-to-air, the HRT-HTV 5 channel broadcasts continuous news, educational and entertainment programmes in Croatian, in addition to content in English, Spanish and German. It joins the 1,000 channels that are available via HOTBIRD for over 135 million homes in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
