Alstom: awarded contract in the Philippines
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has been awarded a contract by Mitsubishi Corporation to supply an integrated rail system for the extension of the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) project in the Philippines.
The project, which is being carried out by a consortium led by Alstom with Colas Rail, will transform mobility between Metro Manila and the suburban areas of Luzon, making it faster, more reliable and more sustainable.
Alstom will be responsible for system integration, signalling and telecommunications, power supply, automatic fare collection system, platform doors, maintenance systems and depot equipment, as well as the control centre and training.
