Alstom: H1 net income down 24%
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has posted H1 2020/21 sales of 3.
5 billion euros, down 15% as reported and 13% organically compared to H1 2019/20.
Net income, group share amounted to 161 million euros, compared to 213 million euros a year ago, down 24%.
"At E40 billion on 30 September 2020, the current backlog provides strong visibility on future sales," Alstom said. Last year, its order book stood at 41.3 billion euros in the same period.
For FY 2020/2021, Alstom expects sales of 7.6-7.9 billion euros.
