Engie: inaugurates largest solar farm in IdF
(CercleFinance.com) - The group has inaugurated the largest photovoltaic farm in the Paris region.
With a power of 20.3 MWp over an area of 23 hectares, it produces the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption for over 10,000 people.
This farm was jointly built with SIGEIF, the municipality of Marcoussis (91) and Engie to meet the challenges of the energy transition relating to the local production of renewable electricity.
"This contributes to less energy dependence in the Île-de-France region and greening of the electrical grids".
