Engie: partners Equinor in hydrogen
(CercleFinance.com) - Norwegian oil group Equinor has announced a partnership with Engie to jointly develop low-carbon hydrogen activities.
Both partners believe that it is essential to develop large-scale renewable and low-greenhouse gas emission hydrogen projects to enable industrial customers to significantly reduce their CO2 emissions by 2030.
Engie and Equinor have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to study the development of low-carbon hydrogen value chains in Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
