Engie: signs contract for 100 electric buses in Chile
(CercleFinance.com) - Engie will supply 100 electrical buses to the city of Santiago in Chile in 2019.
From 2019, the capital city of Santiago will use a total of 200 electrical buses, half of which will be provided by Engie. Chile will hence become the second biggest user of electric buses in the world, behind China.
In Chile, 2,800 Engie employees develop energy production solutions (electricity and gas) that are both centralised and decentralised, as well as other territorial solutions.
